Introduction to Making Face and Body Serums

Introduction to Making Face and Body Serums: This class will launch in January 2024. This prerecorded class will include the formulas, how-to videos making each formula, and a video going over the importance of all the different ingredients. 

Face and body serums are formulated with a high concentration of key ingredients but are lightweight in formula, so they can be layered under creams or lotions.

What will you learn?

• The difference between oil and water-based serums. 
• Using naturally based and safe synthetic ingredients.
• Why pH is important and how to check your products.
• Learn about the different base ingredients to create smooth and aesthetically pleasing serums. 

Some of the key ingredients we will cover: 

• Sodium Hyaluronic acid
• different gelling ingredients
• Basic high performing actives

This class is a great start before you move into the advanced high-performance serums class. It is not a prerequisite, but it does give you a great base to start with and will be helpful for the next level class.
